I loved that the Jesselton Point and Gaya Street Sunday Market were just a short walk away, making it so easy to explore the vibrant sights and local flavors of Kota Kinabalu while enjoying beautiful waterfront views during my stay as a solo traveler in the Rainforest Villa.

I enjoyed our time here, especially kayaking close to the vibrant marine life and savoring the delicious meals, but the limited dining options were a letdown. Would I choose it again? Maybe.
